Peter Frank Ba rgen died Aug. 25. He was
born Apr. 1, 1922 to Frank and Elizabeth Bar-
gen. He immigrated to Canada in February
1930. He married Anne Peters June 3, 1945.
She died Jan. 25, 1997. He obtained a PhD
in Educational Administration from the Uni-
versity of Alberta . He held positions in edu-
cation and civic administration, including
Chief City Commissioner for Edmonton. He
was a founding member of Lendrum MB
Church, Edmonton. He was involved in lead-
ership in Lendrum, serving as church board
chair for many years . He oversaw the build-
ing of the fellowship hall and the sanctuary.
