	In the death of Bro. Ezra G. Allebach, of Philadelphia, on the 11th inst., the First Mennonite Sunday-school of that place has lost a willing-worker and teacher, as well as a faithful assistant superintendent of the school. As an expression of the high esteem in which the departed brother was held, a short memorial service followed the regular session of the School on Sunday morning, Feb. 18th, when Miss Florence Shelly, one of the members of his class, sang a selection, Tennyson's “Crossing the Bar,” after which the Superintendent, Bro. A. S. Bechtel, made a few appropriate remarks upon the upright Christian life and character of the departed brother, and his faithful devotion to his duties as a teacher and officer of the school. The entire school then joined in singing the hymn “Gathering Home.” The Pastor, Rev. N. B. Grubb, followed with a short address and led in the closing prayer. Immediately after the dismissal of the school, a special meeting of the officers and teachers was called, and the following resolutions were adopted:		In the death of Bro. Ezra G.
