MRS. MARY D. YODER

Mrs. Mary D. Yoder, widow of Noah Z. Yoder, died at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Yoder, Orrtanna, Penn., on the evening of Sept. 13. Death was due to infirmities of old age. Mrs.Yoder, whose husband died in 1918, had made her home with her son the past eight years.

She was a native of Long Green, Md., and a daughter of the late Jacob and Magdalena (Diener) Waltz. she lived in Maryland during the Civil War and in later life recalled incidents in connection with the Battle of Gettysburg. The deceased was a member of the Fairfield Mennonite Church.

She is survived by five children, Miss Anna Yoder, L. I. Yoder, and Mrs. A. T. Stoltzfus, all of Elverson, Pa.; Dr. J. A. Yoder, Xenia, Ohio, and W. F Yoder of Orrtanna; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted from the home and the Fairfield Mennonite church by Rev. George S. Stoneback, assisted by rev. A. W. Geigley. Interment was made in the Mummasburg Mennonite cemetery on Sept. 16.
