text of obituary:

MRS. ANNIE (GOOD) WEBER

Annie Good Weber, was the daughter of Martin and Katherine (Martin) Good. She was born in Lancaster County, Penna. on March 17, 1878, and lived in the same community all her life. She went to be with the Lord Oct. 2, 1957, aged 79 years, six months and 15 days.

She was saved in youth, was baptized and united with the Bowmansville Mennonite Church with a class of 23. Three of these are still living.

On Oct. 2, 1898, she was united in marriage to Henry M. Weber. This union was blessed with five daughters and one son.

After living on a farm of their own only two years, father died at the age of 51 years, leaving a great void in mother's life. The youngest daughter Margaret was only two years old. The four oldest children were girls so mother had to sell the farm as the son was not old enough to do the work. This was hard on mother as she dearly loved farm life.

Elizabeth, the third daughter, became mentally ill at the age of 23 years and this was a great burden to mother. Elizabeth has been in Harrisburg State Hospital for the past 13 years and was not able to come home until mother's last birthday and again the last Sunday of mother's life.

Mother took great pleasure working in the garden and Monday she was busy in the garden. On Tuesday she took ill and suddenly passed away that same night.

She was gifted at writing letters and brought comfort and cheers to many a discouraged and bereaved one. She also enjoyed visiting the sick and the lonely. Her daughter, Katie, who lived with her and took care of her, usually took mother on these visits.

She is survived by six children, Katie at home, Lillie of Narvon, Pa., Elizabeth of Harrisburg, Pa., Ruth, wife of Bartram Leaman, Martin and Margaret, wife of Leon Shirk, both of East Earl, Pa.; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Eli and Harbey Good, Both of East Earl, Pa.
