• Funeral services for Mrs. William Unruh, 76, of Route 2, Newton were held Tuesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church, with Rev. Ronald Krehbiel in charge. Mrs. Unruh, who had been ill for about two years and had undergone a number of operations, died Saturday morning at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel. The former Linda Enz, she was born in the Grace hill community east of Newton, but the family moved to the Goessel area when she was 10. She and her husband had lived on a farm near Goessel since their marriage in 1923. He survives with three sons, Waldo of Goessel, Wilbur of the home, and Marvin of North Newton; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin F. (Elma) Banman and Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Funk, both of rural Hillsboro; one sister, Mrs. John A. Reimer of Goessel; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
