— Allen E. Snyder, 50, of Hesston died Monday evening at Bethel Deaconess Hospital after a serious illness. The body is at the Miller Funeral Home in Goessel, and a private burial service will be held Thursday. A memorial service is announced for Thursday evening, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. at the Whitestone Mennonite Church in Hesston, of which he was a member. Mr. Snyder was born at Cheraw, Colo. and farmed there most of his life. He and his family moved to Hesston in January 1969. Surviving are his wife Norma and children Loren, Cheryl and Jerre of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Snyder of Hesston; two brothers, Kenneth of Goshen, Ind. and Melvin of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three sisters, Mrs. Murray (Alta) Krabill of Mt. Gilead, O., Mrs. Jake (Lois) Birkey of Manson, Iowa, and Mrs. Stanley (Alma) Schloneger of Louisville, O.
