WIDOW OF NEWSPAPER FOUNDER CALLED

Berne, Ind. — Mrs. Emma Reusser Rohrer, 82, whose husband Fred Rohrer founded “The Berne Witness” in 1896, passed away at the Hossman hospital here on March 20. Mrs. Rohrer helped her husband during the early years of the local paper, now published tri-weekly. She was born here in 1868.

Funeral services were held march 23 at the First Mennonite church, where she had been a charter member of the women’s missionary society. She was also active in flower mission activities
