SIX-YEAR-OLD GIRL DIES FROM BURNS SUFFERED OCTOBER 20

Berne, Ind. — Burns suffered Oct 20 when her clothing caught fire proved fatal to Mary Miller, six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Miller, who died Nov. 1 in a Ft Wayne hospital. Funeral services were held Friday at the Miller home, Route 2, Grabill, and burial was made in the Amish cemetery near Grabill.

While her mother was out of the house, the little girl attempted to light the oil stove and somehow ignited her clothing. She ran to her mother for help, and suffered second and third degree burns over much of her body.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters and two brothers: the grandfather, Samuel Yutzy of Massillon, Ohio; and great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Yutzy of Arthur, Ill.
