Butterfield, Minn. — John J. Miller, who was born here Feb. 2, 1895, died on Aug. 19, 1968 at the age of 73. Funeral services were held Aug. 22 at the First Mennonite Church.

Young Father Drowns In Pond at Sarasota
Sarasota, Fla. — John J. Miller, 28, drowned in a pond near his home on Gocia Road.
He was in swimming with two of his children and a neighbor child when he apparently suffered an attack of stomach cramps. Officials learned that he had eaten shortly before entering the water.
Surviving in addition to his family here are his father and step-mother, Min. and Mrs. Levi M. Miller of rural Plain City, Ohio.
