MRS. EMMA MILLER

Mrs. Emma Miller of Wakarusa, Ind. died Feb. 5 in Rest Haven Home in Elkhart where she had been a patient 10 days. She had been in ill health several months.

Mrs. Miller was born May 19, 1887, in Holmes County, Ohio, the daughter of Simon and Mary Troyer. She married Ananias P. Miller on Feb. 21, 1908. He died in 1954. They moved from Kokomo to Elkhart in 1929. Mrs. Miller was a member of the WMSA and Golden Age group of the Prairie Street Mennonite Church of Elkhart.

Surviving are seven children: John Miller of Wakarusa; Kenneth C. Miller and Mrs. Richard Whitle, both of Elkhart, Dr. Albert R. Miller of Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Mary Crawford of Montview, Calif., Mrs. Fred Bontrager, of Kendall, Kan., and Mrs. Ralph Stahly of Midland, Mich.; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lucy Oswald of Berlin, Ohio.

Funeral services were held in the Prairie Street Mennonite Church of Elkhart, of which she was a member, with burial in Prairie Street cemetery. Rev. Howard Zehr officiated.
