BRITAIN MOURNS DEATH OF AGED QUEEN MARY

A month of mourning will be observed in Britain as expression of esteem and respect for the 85-year-old Queen Mary, who died in her sleep March 24, after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in St. George's chapel of Windsor castle for centuries the final resting place of England's kings and queens. Burial was beside the body of her husband, King George V, who died in 1936. their son, King George VI, is among others who lie beneath the ancient stone floor.

In spite of the aged queen's death, the coronation of her granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth II, is to take place as scheduled in June.
