MINISTER OF E. M. CHURCH IN CANADA CALLED BY DEATH
Steinbach, Man. — Funeral services were held at the Evangelical Mennonite church here Sept. 16 for Rev. Peter B. Kroeker, 82, who served as a minister in this church group for 33 years. The church was formerly known as the “Kleingemeinde.”
Death came Sept. 12 at the home near Steinbach.
Rev. Kroeker was born in Russia in 1873 and came to Canada when one year of age. He was ordained Jan. 23, 1916.
