11-Year-Old Boy Dies In Manitoba Crash
Steinbach, Man. — Funeral services were held at the Chortitzer Church, Grunthal, on Dec. 30 for Alvin Lloyd Klassen, 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolf Klassen of Grunthal who was killed in a highway crash Dec. 23.
The Klassen family was traveling on Highway 59 with Mr. Klassen as driver when their car was involved in a headon collision with an Ile des Chenes motorist. Mr. Klassen was taken to the St. Boniface hospital with serious injuries, while Mrs. Klassen and their 10-year-old daughter Marilyn were unhurt.
