FRANK KEIM

Frank Keim, son of John and Esther Keim, was born Feb. 17, 1884, near Buchanan, Mich., and departed from this earthly life on March 7, 1969, at the Detwiler Hospital in Wauseon, Ohio at the age of 85 years and 18 days.

He was married to Amanda Helmuth of Arthur, Ill. on Dec. 19, 1903. Together they shared the joys and sorrows of life for a little more than 65 years, having celebrated their 65th anniversary last December. To this union were born two daughters and one son.

Mr. Keim joined the Evangelical Mennonite Church on Dec. 4, 1920, and remained a faithful member to the end, having attended services regularly until a few months before his death.

Most of his adult life was spent in the Wauseon and Archbold, Ohio area. He worked as an engineer at the Detwiler Hospital for 32 years.

Preceding him in death were three brothers and one sister. He has left to cherish his memory, his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Nelson (Edna) Rupp and Mrs. Sam (Mary) Miller, both of Archbold, Ohio; one son, Sylvan, of Archbold; four grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Meno [sic Menno] and Andrew of Minier, Ill., Ira and Loren of Bloomington, Ill., besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Evangelical Mennonite Church on March 10, 1969, with Rev. Charles Zimmerman and Rev. H. E. Bertsche officiating. Burial was made at Pettisville Cemetery.
