MRS. ANNA JANTZ

Anna Jantz, daughter of John and Lena Jantz, was born in McPherson county, Kansas Jan. 4, 1881, and passed from this life at Greensburg, Kansas June 20, 1950, at the age of 69 years, five months and 16 days.

Oct 15, 1896, she was united in marriage to Barney Jantz. To this union were born 13 children, Lydia, Mrs. A. F. Willems, Minnie, Mrs. Lee Mayor, Della, Mrs. Carl Hinson, Lloyd, Daisy, Roxie, Mrs. Richard Nelson, Edna, and Dorothy, Mrs. Don Robinson. Five children preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her departure her bereaved husband, one son, seven daughters: four brothers, Jacob of Montezuma, Abe of Greensburg, Henry of Fredonia, Ben of Livingston, Calif.; and two sisters, Lena, Mrs. D. D. Wadel and Susie, Mrs. Ben Koehn, of Livingston. Calif. The sisters, Mrs. Carrie Jantz and Mrs. Eva Peaster, preceded her. Besides the immediate family there are many other relatives and friends who mourn her passing

She accepted Christ as her personal Saviour and joined the Calvary Mennonite church on April 22, 1942. She was a faithful and conscientious Christian the rest of her life. Her testimony was of peace and trust during the time of her last illness.
