Funeral services for Harry Janke had to be postponed from Saturday until Monday afternoon, March 23, because of the snow. The services were held at Bethlehem Mennonite Church, with Dennis Webber and Bob Weinberger officiating. Harry Janke was born March 25, 1934, to Ernest and Susie (Tieszen) Janke and died March 15, 1987. He had transferred from California to Reno, Nev., on Feb. 15 and worked there for Southern Pacific as a pipeline operator. He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Rasmussen and Cora Gaub; one brother Ed Janke of Tucson, Ariz.; two nieces and three nephews.
