MRS. SUSANNA HAUFF

Susanna Hauff was born on January 7. 1888 at Atmaja, Roumania, one of ten children of Samual and Maria Bettcher. When she was ten years old her parents moved to America settling in North Dakota. In 1906 she was united in marriage to Christian Hauff. The Lord blessed their marriage with four sons and five daughters. She became a Christian in 1905 and was baptized the following summer.

During her last illness she spent some time in the Kelowna General Hospital and then was transferred to Crooked Creek, Alberta to be cared for there by her daughters. She passed away November 1, 1965 after several weeks of intense illness. She was predeceased by her husband in 1947 and by three sons and one grandchild.

She is survived by one son Raymond of Vernon, B.C.; five daughters, (Mrs.) Amanda Minrri, (Mrs.) Malita Ratzlaff and (Mrs.) Miryam Fast, all of Crooked Creek, (Mrs.) Dora Cornelson of Valleyview, Alta., and (Mrs.) Rosa Janzen of Klelowna, B.C.
