HEAD OF KLU KLUX KLAN DIED OF HEART ATTACK
Funeral services were held last Saturday at Atlanta, Ga. for Dr. Samuel Green, imperial wizard of the Klu Klux Klan, who died of a heart attack at the age of 59.
Dr. Green became the head of the secret organization which teaches white supremacy through his leadership in reviving the movement following World War II. In recent months he had frequently denied charges that the Klan was connected with the outbreak of violence and terrorism in the South.
The successor to Dr. Green was to be appointed within a short.
