PETER E. EPP

Peter E. Epp, son of the late Peter P. and Katharina Wall Epp, was born Dec. 27, 1887 and died at the Henderson, Neb. Community hospital on Nov. 3, 1959 at the age of 71 years, 10 months, and seven days.

He grew to manhood in the Henderson community, attending local schools, and also the preparatory school at Hillsboro, Kansas and York college at York, Neb. He taught school a few years, but his main occupation was that of farming.

In the fall of 1916 he and his wife, Helena Wiens Epp, whom he married on Dec. 14, 1910, moved to Lustre, Mont. where thy [sic] resided till the spring of 1945. Then he retired from farming and they moved back to the Henderson community. He gave many years of service to the church as choir director, Sunday school teacher and deacon.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, Helena Wiens Epp, two brothers, Cornelius and Abraham; and four sisters, Mrs. Helena Penner, Katharine and Marie, all of Henderson, and Mrs. Barbara Regier of Mt. Lake, Minn.
