MRS. JOHN A. EDIGER

Mrs. John Adrian Ediger was born to Rev. Henry and Helen Adrian at Parker, S. D. on Aug.5, 1882. She passed away to be with the Lord on June 28, 1965, reaching the age of 82 years, 10 months and 23 days.

She spent her childhood and received her elementary and secondary training in the Parker community. At the age of 20 she moved to the Buhler, Kan. community. Soon after this, mother became aware of her need of a Saviour and committed her life to Jesus Christ. She was baptized on the confession of her faith in Christ on April 20, 1903, and bcame a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church. She has maintained her membership in faithfulness until her death.

On June 7, 1911, she was united in holy marriage to John A. Ediger. This marriage of almost 55 years was blessed with two daughters, Nettie and Evelyn.

In 1961 mother's health weakened and she experienced hospitalization and surgery from which she did not completely recover. Soon after this she sustained a stroke which left her handicapped and resulted in her death.

Those who preceded her in death were her daughter, Nettie, Mrs. Art Neufeld; one grandson, Bruce Neufeld; three brothers and three sisters.

Those who mourn her passing are her loving husband, John A. Ediger; one daughter, Evelyn and husband Victor Dirks of Buhler; Kan.; two brothers, P. H. Adrian and John Adrian of Buhler; three sisters, Mary, Mrs. Jake Thiessen of Buhler, Anna Adrian of Buhler and Nettie, Mrs. Binderheim, of Hillsboro, Kan.; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was a faithful wife and a loving mother. We have enjoyed her companionship and love a great deal. She will be missed in the family, the church and the community. We sorrow as we bid farewell, but we rejoice in the assurance of a glorious meeting again in the presence of the Lord. — The Family.
