BARBARA AUGSBURGER

Barbara (Moser) Augsburger was born in Wayne County, March 30, 1849, and died at her late home 4½ miles southwest of Bluffton, Saturday morning, March 19, where she resided for forty-four years, eleven months and nineteen days.

She accepted Christ as her Saviour and joined the Mennonite Church at Sonnenberg, Ohio, at the age of sixteen years and remained a faithful member of the Mennonite congregation.

She was married to Henry Augsburger, Nov. 11, 1871, and lived a happy married life a little over fifty-five years.

She was always faithful in her duties, being up and around until March 14, when she had her second stroke of paralysis, which left her helpless until her death when she slumbered softly away.

Funeral services were in charge of her pastor Rev. Rosenberger. Rev. J. F. Glock opened the service by Scripture reading and offering prayer. Rev. Neuenschwander of the Ebenezer Church, gave a message in German. Interment took place at the Ebenezer cemetery. — Pandora Times.
