Walfrid Anderson was born June 19, 1880, and passed quietly to his reward early in the morning, February 29, 1940, following a stroke. If he had lived to his next birthday, June 19, he would have attained the age of 60 years. Funeral services were held at his home church in Los Angeles, Calif.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, one son, daughter-in-law, and many friends, relatives and coworkers. Memorial and funeral services were held in the Inglewood memorial park church on March 2. Rev. W. A. Regier opened the service by reading Bro. Anderson's favorite Scripture passage, St. John 134: 1 - 20.
Rev. Regier based his words of comfort on Psalm 25: 14. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him.
A mixed quartet sang songs of comfort. The remains were laid to rest in the Inglewood cemetery. — F. T. Wedel.
