SERVICES HELD AT PANDORA, OHIO FOR RETIRED BUSINESSMAN

Pandora, Ohio. — Funeral services for Peter A. Amstutz, 87, a leader in business and civic life of the Pandora community for many years, were conducted at the Grace Mennonite church here Aug. 7. Rev. E. J. Bohn officiated, assisted by Rev. P. E. Whitmer. Mr. Amstutz died at the Bluffton hospital Aug. 4

A former merchant here, Mr. Amstutz was also active in the banking business, served as mayor, president of the village council, clerk of the board of education and township clerk. He was one of the founders of the Grace Mennonite congregation, where he was a member of the first church board and the first treasurer, and taught in the Sunday school for over 40 years.
