The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro, with Rev. Roland Goering in charge. Mrs. Epp, the former Cornelia Friesen, would have reached her 80th birthday next month.		<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif">● </span>Mrs. G. E. Epp, 79, sister-in-law of J. E. Epp of Newton, died Monday morning at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro, with Rev. Roland Goering in charge. 	• Mrs. Lee (Sophie) Becker, 37, died unexpectedly on Monday at her home near Goessel. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Faith Mennonite Church in Newton, of which she was a member, with Rev. Myron Schrag officiating. Surviving are her husband and children Robert, Larry, Jerry and Judy, all of the home; her father, John D. 	• Mrs. Helen (Buller) Abrahams, 88, sister of Mrs. Herman Ediger of Newton, died March 3 at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. She was a lifetime resident of the Inman community and had been a guest at the Pleasant View Home there. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the Hoffnungsau Church, with Rev. Dick Rempel in charge. 	Am. 1. Jan. 1906		Am. 1. Jan. 1906 trat sie mit Br. John P. Dalke in die Ehe, welche am 11. Jan. 1907, wieder gelöst wurde durch ihren seligen Eingang in ihre himmlische Heimat. Ihre Lebensdauer zählt 21 Jahre, 9 Monate und 8 Tage. Ein Söhnlein ist ihr am 2. Jan. 1907 in die Ewigkeit vorausgegangen, nach dem kurzen Leben von 30 Stunden. Die Krankheit seiner l. Maria währte etwas über 12 Tage und war sehr reich an leiblichen Schmerzen, besonders als sie die letzten 8 Stunden so schwer mit dem Tode rang. Ergeben in des Heilandes Willen ging sie mit seliger Hoffnung in das Herrlichkeitsreich hinüber, wo sie nun der Wiedervereinigung harrt.

	~~<center><h3>Former County Clerk In Illinois Dies</h3></center>~~

	~~Eureka~~, ~~Ill. — Mrs.~~ Ina (~~Bachman~~) ~~Vercler, 55, wife of Lloyd I. Vercler and former Woodford County Clerk, died Feb. 25 at her home near here after a long illness. She was born, married and died in the same home.~~

	~~Funeral services were conducted Feb. 27 at the Calvary Mennonite Church, Washington, with Rev. Ben Esch and Rev. Ezra Yordy in charge.~~

	Mrs. Vercler began work in the county clerk's office here at the age of 16. In 1935 she was made chief deputy county treasurer, and in 1938 chief deputy clerk, both under S. E. Naffziger. She was the first budget clerk to be appointed for Woodford County.

	In 1956 she was appointed County Clerk protem to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Naffziger, and was elected to the office in 1958. Due to ill health, she did not seek reelection in 1966. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Beth Ina, of the home.

	• A. J. Brubacher, 75, retired farmer of North Newton, died Feb. 26 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital. A native of Hanston, Kan., he married Clara Hirschler there in 1916 and they lived at Perry, Okla. and in the Moundridge community before moving to Newton in 1944. In recent years Mr. Brubacher had been employed by the city of North Newton. Survivors include his widow; sons E. J. and Jack of Newton, and Donald J. of Hesston; four daughters, Mrs. B. Mario Dirks of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Allen Dalke of Moundridge, Mrs. Kenneth L. Stucky and Mrs. O. B. Krehbiel, both of Newton; 16 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and three sisters. The funeral was conducted Saturday forenoon at the Bethel College Church, with Rev. Esko Loewen officiating.		• A. J. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Herman and Ervin, and two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Waltner and Ann Krehbiel, all of Moundridge; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; five sisters and three brothers. Services for Mrs. Goering were held on Monday afternoon, and those for Mrs. Krehbiel on Tuesday afternoon, both at the Eden Church. Dr. H. A. Fast and Rev.
