Research Time
- Because of limited staff, we are unable to devote extensive time to queries by phone, mail, or e-mail. Our policy is to spend 15-30 minutes of free research time per query. Queries requiring more time will need to be researched by the patron or by a paid outside researcher. (We do not maintain a list of approved researchers for hire).
- This time limitation does not apply to queries resulting from administrative needs of Bethel College, the Mennonite Church USA, or the Western District Conference.
Other Services
Some special services are done rather infrequently, and prices from vendors vary from time to time. Costs for the following will need to be determined on a case-by-case basis: scans from rare books, photographic prints and copy negatives, scans of microfilm/fiche, very large reproductions (e.g. maps, genealogy charts), film to video transfer, transfer to audio cassette, transfer to or from other audio and video formats (wire recordings, phonograph records, reel-to-reel, DAT, CD, S-VHS, DVD).
NOTE: Prices are effective 28 February 2011 and are subject to change without notice.Return to About the MLA.
